Objectives

Training our teachers in linguistic, methodological and environmental areas, it is intended to develop objectives established in the European Development Plan. With that said, the 3 main objectives of this project are: 1-Develop the linguistic competence in a second foreign language (English and French) 2- Promote the learning of new methodologies to improve the teaching and learning process and the use of TIC 3- Contribute to the development of environmental awareness and responsibility. These objectives are established based on previous needs detected in the European Development Plan and will have a medium-term scope involving the entire educational community of our school.

Background

This project is contextualized in a public Elementary school, located in a neighborhood of the city of Cartagena and with a medium-low socioeconomic level. Participating in an European project represents a great opportunity for our institution to internationalize this educational center and lay the foundations of an European experience for the entire educational community. This first experience in Erasmus + projects, through the KA1 action, the purpose is to carry out different mobilities in a period of 24 months divided into organized and structured training courses and periodic observation activities in different European countries. .For a small team, made up of 18 teachers, it is a great educational opportunity to participate in a project of these dimensions. This opportunity means the creation of a solid base to continue progressing towards the European line. In addition, this project is based on the school´s European Development Plan, where specific needs and objectives related to the development of linguistic competence, learning new European methodologies and environmental awareness are proposed.
