The objectives are: IMPROVE THE TEACHERS' LEVEL OF ENGLISH through an English language course and the mobilities of the project. IMPLEMENT THE CLIL METHODOLOGY IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY that coincides with the methodological change of the centre to improve long-term memory, develop communication skills and encourage teamwork. All of this adds value to the school, gives an impulse towards more active learning, creates collaboration between all members of the educational community and favours the teacher's own learning. GOOD SCHOOL MANAGEMENT to implement the new methodology. MOTIVATE PUPILS in the overall learning process with more dynamic methodologies. IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF PUPILS' ENGLISH by integrating foreign languages into the learning of other subjects, in order to train more competent students in today's society. INTERNATIONALISATION OF THE SCHOOL Open the whole educational community to the world. We want to educate citizens who are open and tolerant towards the diversity of people and cultures. More contacts with other European teachers and schools for the exchange of good practices, experiences and information and possible collaborations for future projects.
A few years ago, our school saw the need to make a change in methodologies in order to bring learning methods closer to the students and to today's society. We could not continue teaching as we did 20 years ago, as society and students have changed considerably and we believed that it was our duty to train competent citizens with good personal values. On the one hand, we saw the need to motivate the students and to update the learning methodologies and improve the students' knowledge of English, and on the other hand, it was necessary to train the teaching staff. From here, the Regina Impulsa Project was born, with the aim of creating a unique project for the centre and updating it. The school has grown a lot in recent years and it has become necessary to rewrite the school's educational project, unifying and modernising learning methodologies. For two years, this team worked and established priorities for change within the school's educational project. Within these changes, the improvement of the English language, the internationalisation of the school and the use of the CLIL methodology is a priority.
