Objectives

To significantly improve both the scientific and linguistic skills of teachers, which in turn will have an impact on the development of their teaching practice and, therefore, on the students. Promote the use of programming language in an educational context. Encourage the incorporation of new spaces, educational methods and/or curricular adaptations thanks to the observation of good practices in schools. Internationalize schools, promote Erasmus+ projects and encourage participation among teachers. To strengthen a deeper knowledge of robotics at school level, as well as to incorporate motivational activities among students. To provide teachers with a unique cultural experience where they can develop their foreign language skills in a real context.

Background

One of the priority objectives of the Regional Ministry of Education of the Region of Murcia would be related to the improvement of scientific competence, the request for projects related to this area promotes the use of technology, the updating of teachers and the initiation of programming language and robotics in the classroom. The selection of schools has been made taking into account both previous experience and the plans included at school level, related to scientific competence at primary education level. In addition, some of the non-language subjects are taught in English. In addition, this project covers both the improvement of scientific and linguistic competence of teachers. We cannot forget the need to create an environment conducive to strengthening their knowledge. Therefore, initiatives such as this project are very welcome among schools that demand training as well as a way to promote the internationalization of our schools at regional level, giving a deeper knowledge to the participants and schools of the European programs.
