Our school is a School of Arts located in the center of the city of Cordoba. It offers Bachillerato de Arte studies, as well as Art, as well as Intermediate and Higher Level Training Cycles in Plastic Arts and Design in different subject areas. The students who choose our center to study art are mostly unaware of the importance of this fact and arrive at our school with no and arrive at the school with little knowledge of the cultural and architectural richness of their own city, one of the main reasons for this architectural wealth of their city, one of the most important cities in the world in terms of heritage. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance to offer our pupils a comprehensive education that focuses on the competence of cultural awareness and expression that gives greater meaning to the educational option they have opted for. However, we are faced with a series of needs which are listed below: 1. Low enrollment rate, 2. Lack of modernization of educational practices. 3. Transcending the local educational, social and professional framework and accessing a much broader one with national and international projection. 4. To promote training and accreditation in foreign languages (especially English) for Bachillerato teaching staff.
