With this project, which was very broad, we wanted to train in three very different fields, but connected by the needs found in our center. On the one hand, we wanted to improve the work environment and coexistence among students and in general among the entire educational community. We also wanted to train ourselves more in making our center a more sustainable place and for this to influence the environment of the center. And lastly, we wanted some of our teachers to improve their level of English, especially in oral skills.
The reason for applying for this project responds to different motives. On one hand, the realisation that old methodologies are no longer working with our students, who receive lots of content but hardly retain any of it. On the other hand, there is a wish for internationalizing the school, which has been a bilingual one for the past four years. Next, there is a lack of working together among different departments, which we believe is something essential as it could benefit interconnnections between contents from different subjects.
