Objectives

a) Long-term goals: 1. Internships for students - Consolidate an international partner in the field of VET, since the same partner offers studies related to our higher degree cycle. In this way, the scope of our collaborations can be expanded. - Offer internships in international quality companies to VET students in a sustainable way, since Denmark is an international benchmark in personal care services. 2. Teacher training (job shadowing) - Establish a new host partner to be able to learn about new leading work practices at an international level (Holland), increase the language skills of our teaching staff as well as strengthen relationships and projects at an international level. 3. Both projects: - Acquire more experience when planning, executing and evaluating international projects. This experience will allow us to identify our strengths and weaknesses as an institution and improve the organization of future projects.

Background

Our center is an educational institution with a public service nature, aimed at improving its external and internal context. Externally, we are located in a context with significant socioeconomic difficulties and a complex and enriching sociocultural diversity; we are also located in a network of micro and small companies with training needs and qualified personnel. Internally, we are an institution that offers services to students of various ages and needs (ESO, Batxillerato, VET), with families that have various needs and adaptation rates; We also have a teaching staff of various origins but with certain stability in the workforce. In this complex framework, years ago it was decided to establish different development plans focused on excellence (AppPlus Quality) and internationalization (European Programs, including Erasmus+) in order to organize our actions and improve our contribution. If we focus on our internationalization and European development strategy, the needs to which we plan to respond are to improve the professional, social and linguistic skills of our students, teachers and the companies in our reference area.
