Background

In writing the European Development Plan for our school, we had two major needs: needs in terms of internationalisation and in terms of educational quality. First, we want to internationalize the curriculum to ensure that our students acquire social, civic and intercultural skills, promoting social inclusion and non-discrimination. We also intend to move towards educational excellence within the European framework, identifying and analysing trends in innovation in other education systems. Secondly, in terms of quality, we intend to increase the interest in learning foreign languages, which are usually "rejected" and with greater school failure among FPB students. Bearing in mind also that in the school year 2020/2021 the new law of the Consell 4/2018 was introduced, which regulates and promotes multilingualism in the Valencian education system, and we extended the teaching load in English between 10% and 25%, We want the failure rate to be around 9%. We also aim to reduce school dropout and demotivation by incorporating motivating methodologies capable of arousing their interest and curiosity.
