This project was requested because they wanted to promote Erasmus mobilities among students of intermediate level, mainly after the significant setback of the previous call due to the pandemic.
Promote the mobilities of students of intermediate level after the negative impact of the pandemic in the previous year. These mobilities were directly aimed at improving the competences (both technical -hard skills- and transversal -soft skills-) and therefore the employability of the students benefiting from the scholarships. Indirectly, it was also intended to increase the prestige of the intermediate vocational training and thus attract students who would otherwise abandon their studies or go on to other training for which they are not qualified, with a serious risk of school failure. Tajamar is located in Vallecas, a low middle-income neighbourhood of Madrid. Without these grants there would be many students who would not consider having this enriching international experience, not only because of the amount of the grants, but also because they would not feel able to do it on their own without all the support provided by the Erasmus+ programme. Teacher mobility was also proposed in order to learn from the international experience of other schools and to encourage the teaching staff to improve by learning from the experience of other schools through the mobility of other colleagues.
