The main objectives pursued by the member organizations of this consortium in carrying out this project were as follows: - to increase the training opportunities abroad for students of Vocational Education and Training (VET) - to provide students with the necessary skills for the transition from educational life to working life - to favour the socio-labour insertion of the students studying VET courses in the three schools of the consortium - to disseminate the programme by highlighting its attractiveness through different ways - to support linguistic and cultural preparation as a quality commitment - to give academic recognition to the mobility activities carried out by the students - to establish international cooperation networks between the schools of the consortium and companies of the professional sector of each VET course included in the mobilities.
IES Mestre Ramón Esteve, in consortium with IES El Quint and IES 9 d'Octubre, has applied for this project to establish improvement objectives, which are articulated around four basic points: - To give continuity to the internationalization plan of each school - To improve the teaching methods in the areas of the professional families of each school - To consolidate the mediation and solidarity projects in which they were involved - To implement a multilingual curriculum. These areas for improvement, together with the profile of the students, with low academic results and little motivation for the studies, resulted in poor results. This made the schools involved see the need to search for new methodologies in order to stimulate their interest in learning the theoretical contents of the curriculum. With the activities planned in the application, the newly formed consortium has sought to improve the level of linguistic competence of both students and teachers involved in the program, increase participation, reduce school failure and expand relations and exchanges with other schools in partner countries of the UE.
