Objectives for the students: - Improve their job expectations - Improve their language competence - Improve the academic achievements - Improve skills and attitudes such as personal initiative, responsibility, respect towards other cultures, new ways of working, so on - Motivation to participate in European projects Objectives for the teachers: - Introduce improvements in the standards of education - Improve their professional development in an international context - Improve the quality of teaching in the area of computing and communications - Know new methods and teaching techniques - Improve their language skills - Improve management skills - Establish relationships with other institutions - Develop European values Objectives for our consortium: - Improve the quality of vocational education and training in the consortium's schools - Promote competitiveness, entrepreneurship and the skills and competences required in the European work environment - Encourage and enrich language learning - Get to know cultures from different countries of the European Union and promote the integration of different cultures.
IES Cánovas del Castillo, in consortium with IES Pablo Picasso, IES Vega de Mijas, IES Campanillas and IES Ilíberis), has applied for this project, as continuity of 2019 project, with the idea of improving the areas of activity: - Promote student mobility in European companies. - Disseminate the program, highlighting its attractiveness and giving greater access to participate. - Support linguistic and cultural preparation - To recognize academically the activities of the students and officially the activities of the teachers. The project, through these mobilities, aims to make VET a more attractive and relevant option for students and to alleviate, thus, the needs that most of them present: - Difficulty in finding a job that corresponds to their level of training. - Low level of language skills - Early school dropouts - Insufficient entrepreneurial dynamics - Students from deprived neighbourhoods with a lack of financial resources. With this initiative, the project helps them to obtain the necessary skills to integrate into the labour market, improving their transition from education and training to the labour market. It also opens a door for teachers to improve their technical, teaching and linguistic skills.
