The visit to the Lycée Polyvalent Henri Sellier Educational Center sought to achieve a series of objectives that would allow both our teachers and students to improve the quality of training actions and continue supporting the internalization of our Vocational Training Center. To this end, the following objectives were defined: - Find out how gender equality is worked in another European teaching center. - Become aware of the social problems that we are currently experiencing in adolescent-adult students. - Carry out a linguistic immersion in English in order to improve the level of staff in that language and acquire basic notions of the French language. - Offer students a greater European vision after the European stay of their teachers and encourage their mobility in future European projects. - Share our own experiences and knowledge acquired in our center with the French center for mutual enrichment. - Improve our methodologies to make them more innovative and motivating.
The VERGE educational group, made up of two Vocational Training Centers, a Nursery School and a non-profit Association, among others, has been participating in different Erasmus+ projects for several years. Thanks to these projects, our students and teaching staff have improved their knowledge in different educational areas and acquired tools and skills for their own training and personal performance. In order to continue contributing to the improvement of the educational quality of our CFP Verge de Cortes Sorolla, at the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year, a series of needs were identified regarding methodologies to address gender equality and other social problems. in the classrooms. Similarly, given our commitment to Europe and its values, we are committed to establishing links with colleagues from other countries to create support networks that allow us to share experiences, carry out common projects and help each other improve our skills, such as linguistic ones. Through this Job Shadowing at the Lycée Polyvalent Henri Sellier Educational Center, located in France, it was intended to continue promoting the permanent learning of our teaching staff and acquire new knowledge.
