-Inclusion and integration: Participants feel integrated and valued in European society, promoting values such as human dignity, tolerance and equality and rejecting discrimination. We want them to learn about different lifestyles and overcome prejudices by getting to know other realities. -To avoid school drop-out rates and to promote the employability of our students. We face a widespread problem of demotivation that leads to early school leaving. However, participants in Erasmus+ projects have found employment or are still studying. So it has been a great tool to combat youth unemployment and reduce early school-leaving. -Language acquisition. Many students do not recognise the importance of learning other languages due to a lack of opportunities to practice what they have learnt. Through European projects, they expand their minds and overcome their own obstacles by acquiring practical skills in a third language. -Continuous and dynamic learning. We strive to draw on different working methods to improve the quality of teaching. Through teacher mobilities the members of the institution benefit from the exchange of experiences and innovation coming from other European centres benefiting our students and the environment around us
Our institution has been participating in European Projects since 2014 and we increasingly believe in the benefits of internationalisation. In 2020 we applied to this Project to continue growing in the path of Europeanisation and to offer our students and staff the possibility of living an Erasmus experience in a European centre. Our students are given the possibility to spend one month/two weeks of their FCTs abroad (for intermediate and basic level respectively), which improves their employability and their continuity in the education system. We also wanted for our staff the job shadowing experiences in any centre in Europe. The Erasmus Project continues to grow in importance in our centre, proof of this is that, despite having gone through the Covid, Brexit and Ukrainian war stages with this project, 100% of the mobilities granted have been carried out, making the first basic mobilities in the history of our centre and increasing the number of partners (which was something that was proposed to us as an improvement).
