Background

Our institution requests the project mainly to improve the performance of the students, their transversal skills and internationalize the teachings, opening the possibility of job placement in the European framework. A demand has been detected among Vocational Training students to expand their training beyond the classroom. This project allows us to respond to this need and at the same time motivate students with a low profile (absenteeism and lack of interest in academic education). A low level of proficiency in foreign languages has been detected in some Basic and Intermediate grade VET groups, and Erasmus mobilities are a means to implement solutions for these students and improve their communication skills in other foreign languages. And finally, these Erasmus actions allow students to mature and make their transition to adult life, assuming responsibilities outside the family environment and becoming aware of belonging to the European Union as citizens. It is also intended to improve the digital and foreign language competence of our vocational training teachers, as well as carry out actions aimed at caring for the environment.
