Taking as reference the socioeconomic context, the professional sectors taught at the center and the needs detected throughout the years of implementation of international projects, the following objectives were established: - Promote a European vision and international growth of the center. - Expand our educational offer. - Strengthen cooperation between academia and business, establishing and forging bridges and synergies. - Promote professional traineeships abroad. - Offer opportunities for improvement, curricular updating and continuous training for teaching staff. - Strengthen and increase our partners’ network. - Diversify destinations, flow of mobility and typology of activities. - Increase job placement opportunities for our students, helping their future employability. - Provide participants with an opportunity for linguistic improvement. - Develop entrepreneurship capacity in participants and contribute to their decision-making. - Learn about other realities, increase citizenship values and sociocultural integration. - Contribute to local, regional, national and European economic development.
Institut Escola Municipal de Treball (EMT), with more than 100 years of history, is a public high school for secondary education and a vocational training school, owned by the City Council of Granollers. We are convinced that in today's Europe, quality teaching and learning has to contemplate ways of working and living beyond the regular environment of the student and teacher, an objective for which the Erasmus+ program is ideal to promote this working standard. That is why we continue with this GranErasmus mobility project our firm commitment to the modernization and internationalization of our center, and especially in the field of VET. We continue fighting to raise awareness about the intercultural and European dimension as well as the development of international cooperation and openness strategies of the different participating institutions. There is no doubt that with this project we persevere with our desire to consolidate and expand this internationalization, in accordance with the Strategic Plan and the External Projection Plan of Granollers and in line with the European Development Plan in order to promote a more educational, attractive, modern, dynamic and committed environment.
