The main objective was to increase our institution's involvement in international activities, which had been going on for a long time, but which had clearly focused on a single high-level study program (Automatization and Industrial Robotics). So we saw the need to expand the international project to the intermediate-level study programs of different fields, to make it more inclusive. As far as teachers are concerned, our intention was to help them involve in European cooperation projects, exchange good practices, and improve their language skills.
The purpose of the project has been to expand the mobility opportunities of our intermediate-level students so they could to study electricity and mechanical engineering modules at European schools connected to the EMEU network (Engineering Mobility in Europe). Our organization has been officially in that network since the beginning of 2020. The project complies with the school's strategy and sets out its priorities to provide students with opportunities to gain international experience and thereby enhance their capabilities and prepare them for a global labor market. It is also our intention to give teachers the opportunity to conduct job-shadowing activities, to enrich their professional experience and facilitate their opportunities to cooperate with other schools in order to make VET education more realistic and more attractive.
