Regarding students' mobilities: Increase our student’s employability at both national and European level. The Europass document, which describes the skills the trainees develop on their mobilities, facilitates the students’ entry into the labour-market; that’s why some of them decide to continue with their work experiences in Europe. For those who return, the description of the developed skills enhance their resume. Improve our students’ skills in foreign languages, especially in English. These skills are highly demanded by the companies in which our students will develop their professional careers. Ensure that every VET student has equal opportunities, especially those who have economic difficulties or special needs. The founds given by Erasmus+ VET project grants are enough to cover students expenses so that economic difficulties are not an obstacle for them to apply for the grant. Furthermore, the opportunity to enter into the labour-market enhances after developing internships in Europe under Erasmus+ program. Regarding teachers' mobilities, we wanted to achieve the following aims: -Respond to training needs in new methodologies (digitalisation), new learning tools, management of training practices (On the job learning module) and European projects. The objective is that the jobshadowing and mentoring mobilities increase the teachers’ knowledge on the European dimension and European companies. -The improvement of this competence, not only due to the mobility itself, but also due to the boosting of participating teachers’ motivation for learning the language and the encouragement that gives to the Faculty. In addition, the IES Clara del Rey is a prestigious School in the Community of Madrid so one of our main achievements is the increase in our international presence that will make us prestigious in the field of European cross cultural exchanges, as we already are in other projects such as the DUAL Professional Training, Bilingual Projects in the Professional Training Education or Entrepreneurship Projects (Clara Emprende). Therefore, our objectives regarding the school are the following: -Promote cooperation between business and education fields in the European environment. As we already carry out this necessary cooperation programs at regional and national level, we want to extend them to the European level. -Create links with equivalent schools in different countries that can broaden our teaching perspectives. -Participate in a KA220 project. -Get the European Charter for Vocational Training. -Renew the ECHE letter - Encourage the participation of all teachers in the project
The IES Clara del Rey wants to clearly bet on its internationalization, so this project is part of a broader strategy with which we want to improve the professional and linguistic skills of students and teachers; to attempt cross-cultural exchanges, learning from other teachers in Europe; to create permanent links to European schools and to respond to the mobility needs of teachers and students, boosting the employability of students at an European level. Through the annual surveys that we carry out with students and teachers, as well as through the contributions made in the different Faculty Departments, we were able to find out the teachers' concerns about the internationalization of our school and their commitment to international projects.
