To broaden the professional, social and transversal competences of students and teachers against the background of European citizenship values.
The application for this project was specifically aimed at Intermediate Level Training Cycles in the socio-health area in which specific needs have been detected. With the application for this project, CIFP Los Gladiolos intended to implement improvements in language skills, professional skills, employability and social skills of students. Most of the students who enter these training cycles come from Compulsory Secondary Education, but a high percentage of them are school dropouts or unemployed people who are looking to improve their employment situation. In many cases these students come from families with limited socio-economic possibilities, unstructured, at risk of social exclusion, and a high percentage are women. We deeply believe that the international experience can contribute to the opening of minds and the change of life towards a better perspective of many students, helping also to increase social skills and intercultural sensitivity, so necessary for personal life, but also in these cases for an effective communication with the users of the services in which they will exercise their profession.
