The objective of the program was the mobility of students of both Intermediate Degree and Basic Vocational Training, where we find students with fewer opportunities, to complete the aforementioned practical training (Work Center Training module) in countries of the program, it is an opportunity improvement of our students in their professional qualification. Develop projects from each of the academic fields studied, such as: telecommunications installations, basic electrical installations, public address installations and sound systems, among others. Calculate the parameters of equipment, elements and facilities, complying with current regulations and the requirements of the host country. These teachings include the necessary knowledge to carry out the basic level activities of occupational risk prevention, therefore, the student's contact with a real work environment allows the validity of the knowledge acquired to be verified in the first person. At the center level, it is an incentive and a recognition of the work and effort of the work carried out. In addition, among the educational community, this type of activity is perceived as a very positive component of student training. The Erasmus+ programs generally arouse great sensitivity to European issues, in fact, several Erasmus+ projects are planned for teaching in other departments, which are not Vocational Training departments, and they enthusiastically view the possibility of establishing links for the exchange of experiences.
The main objective is to give our Vocational Training students the opportunity to have work experience in a European context. This project contemplated mobility of students of Intermediate Training Cycles to give them an opportunity to carry out their internships in companies located outside the national territory. The mobilities requested in the project, based on the demand of the previous year, had the objective that our students who attend Intermediate Training Cycles, could carry out the Workplace Training practices contemplated in their study plan as mandatory. By doing them with an Erasmus mobility, they expanded the final objective, since doing them in a European Union country entails an important linguistic and cultural immersion. The student's Practical Training as part of the curriculum involves the development and acquisition of skills that must be completed in two and a half months, as the last part of their training. They represent a total of 400 hours that the student generally does between March and June of the 2nd Course. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the program may be that, in such a short period of time, by completing a month of internships abroad and without continuity solution, completing this period in a company in their environment, the student can judge and assess both scenarios quickly.
