Objectives

The consortium was born with the main objective of supporting the public VET educational centers of Aragon in the mobility and Internationalization of their students and teachers, because in Aragon there is still a problem in the Aragonese VET centers when carrying out these mobilities due to to little experience of some of them, to the size and location, little demand by students and teachers and the scarcity of human resources to request and attend with quality the projects themselves in all their phases. The main objective is the improvement of the educational, training, linguistic, professional and cultural capacities of students and teachers of the different Cycles of VET of Aragon. In addition, it aims to serve as a boost and pilot for those centers with little experience or with a lack of sufficient resources to develop mobilities. Specific objectives of participating students: 1. Adaptation to the new demands of the community labor market. 2. Improvement of linguistic competence. 3. Improvement in digital capacity. Specific objectives of participating teachers: 1. Improvement in linguistic competence. 2. Technical update. 3. Improvement of professional skills.

Background

The Government of Aragon has a consortium for Higher Level VET mobility called "Aragon in Europe" since 2016. All Aragonese public centers with the ECHE Charter participate as partners in this consortium. The manager of the Consortium is the Innovation Center for VET of Aragon (CIFPA), a public body dependent on the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Government of Aragon. In 2019, CIFPA has been designated by the Department of Education to expand the offer of the consortium for Higher Level VET to Intermediate Level, for which the new Mobility Consortium for Intermediate Level of Vocational Training is created. As in the consortium for Higher VET, CIFPA is in charge of the application form and acting as the coordinator of both Consortiums. The members of the consortium are the public VET providers that teach cycles belonging to the Intermediate Level of Vocational Training.
