With this project we intend to implement a sustainable and lasting internationalization plan for VET, and for this purpose we set the following specific objectives -- To carry out a methodological and organizational proposal that adequately integrates the internationalization of Work Center Training in the Educational Project of the Center, adapting the processes of company selection, training program, management, tutoring and monitoring, and evaluation to the international framework. -- To train the teaching staff in the competencies necessary for the internationalization of their teaching work. -- Establish new relationships and sign collaboration agreements with European educational institutions. -- Create an agenda of European companies that accept interns and a system for evaluating the educational possibilities they offer. -- Design template documents and define and implement processes, which lay the basis for the effective management of Erasmus mobilities. --. Create an internationalization working group composed of professors who will implement the project.
After participating in a consortium and seeing the opportunities offered by Erasmus for the educational improvement of our school, we decided to apply for this project with the intention of laying the foundations of a sustainable and lasting internationalization plan for vocational training adapted to the reality of our school. This project proposes organizational and methodological modifications that introduce international and multicultural competences in the educational program of Vocational Training at IES La Merced. These modifications respond, on the one hand, to the interest in improving the employability of our students, both at local and European level. On the other hand, we also seek to adequately prepare students by providing them with the tools that will allow them to participate successfully in a labor and social environment (local or European) increasingly complex and multicultural, and thus contribute to social cohesion and citizen coexistence. Finally, we would also like to promote regional development thanks to the innovations that our students will bring when they start working in our region and put into practice what they have learned in other countries.
