Objectives

The objectives can be divided into two blocks: a) Students´ objetives: As mentioned in the previous point, the aim is to improve their professional competence as well as their personal and social skills, thus favouring their integration into the labour market or, why not, their interest in continuing their education. This is achieved by living with people from other countries with very different cultures, improving their linguistic competence, their autonomy and their social skills. b) Teachers´objectives: we seek to enrich the knowledge related to training and evaluation. For them we have sought or resumed contact with institutions which stand out for the methodologies used, for promoting mobilities with other countries and with a well-established Dual VET offer. The knowledge is shared with members of the department so that all the VET teachers of the centre benefit from the project.

Background

The main reason for applying for the project 2020-1-ES01-KA102-079139: more and better opportunities is to improve the internationalisation strategy of IES La Fuensanta. For this it is important to involve all the staff related to our centre (teaching and non-teaching) and of course, the students. The digital transformation is a reality and with this project we intend to extend the use of new technologies by teachers together with the implementation of new active methodologies (ABP, cooperative learning...). As for the students, we want to improve their professional, personal and social skills. The experience of being able to do the FCT in companies in another country gives them the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of their sector, as well as promoting their autonomy. Another reason is to broaden our network of contacts with new organisations and to resume them with old partners since, due to the restrictions of COVID-19, relations with certain companies and institutions of the Health family have been affected.
