Objectives

With the development of this multiprofessional project, we wanted to provide new opportunities for specific training in their professional sector, as well as linguistics, and the acquisition of other transversal skills to 50 middle-grade students (students or recent graduates) from any of the CFGM of the three HEIs. participants: Auxiliary Nursing Care, Bodywork, Vehicle Electromechanics, Care for Dependent People, Pharmacy, Commercial Activities, Administrative Management or Agricultural Production. A high percentage of these students come from the group of people with fewer opportunities, since they have few financial resources and come from impoverished neighborhoods in our area. For this reason, they have also had the occasional support of five teachers, who, in addition to supporting the students in their initial adaptation, have provided the teaching staff with a more direct knowledge of the labor realities of the sector in other EU countries, allowing them also to exchange opinions on the training requirements demanded in the sector, working methods, computer tools used, etc...

Background

The consortium formed by the IES Fuentepiña (coordinator) the IES José Caballero and the IES Rafael Reyes sought to learn about other professional realities and strengthen cooperation ties with European companies to help our students to start their lives every day with less effort. labor, thus reducing the high rate of unemployment in our town. This project gave continuity to the consortium created in 2017, thanks to which we had collaborating companies and host partners who participated to participate with us, which have offered participants quality internships at a European level, specifically in Ireland, Italy, Malta and Portugal. We also intended to publicize our centers, our town and our region in other European countries, which can have a positive impact on our local economy.
