Mainly to provide our students with quality training, which will enable them to overcome the adversities they face. This would enable us to reduce the high dropout rates, improve student motivation and by extension reduce the high rate of unemployment which is a burden on our towns and cities. The schools involved would be able to better manage issues as important as diversity and coexistence, which would positively affect the family environment, making them, in turn, participate in the importance of education for the future of their children. The different centres would have access to resources that would enable them to achieve internationalisation and, with Erasmus+, promote the improvement of transversal and professional competences, providing comprehensive training for our young people, which would respond to the needs of the labour market, encouraging entrepreneurial attitudes among them. This European and international approach in the educational and training processes, favouring cooperation with educational centres and companies at European level, will facilitate the transfer of knowledge and the dissemination of good practices.
This consortium is made up of 3 centres located in different towns in the province of Badajoz. These localities have similar characteristics and therefore very similar problems, among which we highlight absenteeism, early school leaving and the need to modernise our institutions and thus expand our goals. The majority of our pupils come from families with limited resources, in some cases from broken homes, and there are also a significant number of immigrant and ethnic minority pupils. The union of our three schools means giving greater visibility to our reality, and with this we will be able to ask for more resources and also greater involvement from our local institutions. For these reasons, we understood that our participation in Erasmus+ would provide us with the necessary tools with which to provide adequate responses to the various difficulties we encounter on a daily basis and also to be able to offer better future prospects to our students.
