The objectives set out in the project were as follows: -To improve the employability of the students by 10%. In general, the centre has a large number of students with a low socio-economic level and with this experience we managed to provide this group with new job opportunities and at the same time combat youth unemployment. - Improve by 20% the linguistic capacity of the students. - Increase by 25% the number of students who graduate, in order to combat school drop-out rates. Thanks to the training activities, students will consolidate their achievements and relate them to the skills required in their profession, to the responsible organisation of their work and to the ability to work in groups. They will grow in autonomy and will be able to carry out a number of tasks directly related to their profession, which, together with their levels of motivation and self-confidence, will increase their chances of entering the world of work in a satisfactory manner. Participants will also acquire competence in a foreign language, which will serve as a basic tool for their integration into the labour market.
This project was planned from the beginning as a continuation and improvement of KA102 projects managed in previous years. Since 2018 we have been observing that the possibility of participating in an Erasmus project has generated a really positive impact among our students of Vocational Training. It has generated an atmosphere of openness and globalisation, so that our students begin to identify with the European dimension, with possibilities of study and work beyond our borders. At the same time, it has become a great source of motivation for both students and teachers. The good response of these projects has moved us to look for new destinations, contact new partners and consolidate our own network of European contacts.
