The main purpose was to give continuity to the internationalization process in which we are immersed. Work has been done through the mobility of students and teachers; in the first case, so that they could carry out the FCT module for a period of two months in European companies, and in the second, so that they could carry out "jobshadowing" tasks in similar centers for shorter periods of time; in both cases the intention has always been to integrate the widest possible network of knowledge. In the case of students, the purpose of the mobility is to enable the development of an experience that will represent a turning point in their professional lives. It is intended that when they return they have obtained knowledge that promotes a jump that will print quality on their CVs, and increase their chances of finding a decent and well-paid job, in addition to having improved their linguistic knowledge and their self-esteem and capacity for development, which It will be of great use to you in your professional future.
In the IES Tegueste and in the IES Politécnico, the CFGM Laboratory Operations is taught, from the professional family of Chemistry,and the CFGM Telecommunications Operators is also taught at the IES Politécnico, with which essential professionals are trained for the operation of basic sectors of the Canarian economy, but with a rather complicated labor reality , since the industrial sector has traditionally taken a second place in the economy of the islands. At the IES Garoé, medium cycles are taught to train professionals necessary to boost the economy of the island of El Hierro.
