Our main goals managing these Erasmus + K102 scholarships were: •To benefit students from the learning experience in other European countries. • To contribute to the creation of a community of well-qualified young and future open-minded professionals, with international experience, and to recognize these stays abroad. • To help students accommodate the needs of the large EU labor market. • To allow students to develop specific skills, including linguistic, and to expand their knowledge of the social and economic culture of the host country while gaining work experience. • To contribute to the development of a group of highly qualified, open young people with international experience as future professionals. • To promote cooperation between Vocational Training Educational institutions and companies. • Offer continuous training to teachers in a European context. • Contribute to improving the skills of teachers.
The previous background and experience of this project comes from the exchange with CFAI (Centre de Formation d'Apprentis International) of Perpignan in 2008/9 until 2016. It was carried out during 7 academic years among students of VET in Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery and VET in Food Processing. We have also hosted Bakery students from Lycée François Rabélais, Lyon for one week in 2011/12. In 2018/19 we carried out 10 Erasmus+ KA102 VET-SHORT Mobility Programs with CFA François Rabélais. During 2018/19, two teachers obtained KA102 VET-STA scholarships, a five-day stay in companies. This project was requested to follow up with the experience from 2018/19, which had a great impact and result for both teachers and students. This project wants to develop the curriculum and language skills of students from INS EHTB de Barcelona so that they can adapt and practice them in their future profession, and allows teachers to acquire new and basic knowledge and skills for a high- quality education.
