The project aimed to: - Increase the collaboration between VET centres across the EU. - Improve the employability of our students including through internships abroad. - Increase the mobility opportunities of students and teachers. - Improve the language skills of the teaching team and the students. - Widen the knowledge about the international mobility opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme. - Implement new methodologies in the school. - Increase the students’ opportunities to access the labor market by including work experiences abroad in their CVs.
The consortium, composed of 15 members from the Barcelona and Girona areas, builds on the project ‘Plataforma de Movilidad de Cataluña’ (2018-1-ES01-KA102-049340), which ended in December 2019. It helped better manage mobilities, as well as foster cooperation and mutual learning among schools. It also allowed students from different backgrounds and environments to meet and share experiences. One of the main reasons why we set up the consortium was to join forces in the field of European cooperation and mobilities. In particular, we aimed to address the following needs of this geographical area: - An educational plan which does not reply to the needs of the companies across the EU. - Students’ difficulties to find employment, because of the lack of professional experience. - Lack of language skills of students and professors. - Lack of cooperation between VET centres across the EU. - Lack of knowledge of the educational offer of other VET countries of the EU.
