Objectives

- ACQUIRING SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGICAL, INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SKILLS AND LINGUISTIC COMPETENCES: through ECVET, Europass and the Leaning Agreement. Linguistic competence is guaranteed by the period of linguistic immersion in the host country, the training obtained through the OLS and the intensive English course in our virtual classroom. - PROMOTING THE ACQUISITION OF COMMON VALUES AND PROMOTING SOCIAL EQUITY AND INCLUSION: A high percentage of the consortium's students are first or second generation immigrants. All of them value very positively the possibility of participating in Erasmus mobilities, which is a powerful tool to prevent radicalisation. - TO INCENTIVATE THE STUDENTS AND TO MAKE THEM AWARE OF THE COMPETENCES DEMANDED BY THE EUROPEAN LABOUR MARKET In short, both teachers and students have been able to observe the current demands of the European labour market. -TO PROMOTE THE PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS WITH LESS OPPORTUNITIES, WITH DISABILITIES, SECOND CHANCE PARTICIPANTS, ETC - TO EXPAND THE PROJECT'S DISSEMINATION ACTIVITIES: The active participation of the participants in the dissemination of the project has allowed us to have a wide presence in social networks.

Background

ESFMB detected in certain centres of the Valencia community the need for help in the management of GM Erasmus projects, so it formed a consortium, formed by 10 centres. The Consortium "NEW VET SKILLS FOR BETTER EMPLOYMENT IN EUROPE" is a consolidated consortium with a track record in previous calls. ESFMB is a trade union training school that works directly with the schools and offers them its network of international relations and its experience in the management of European programmes. The contextual analysis we started from when designing the project was as follows: High rates of early school leaving - Need to update professional and linguistic competences - High percentage of immigrant pupils with high socio-economic disadvantages and pupils at risk of social exclusion. - Need to reinforce the European dimension in schools - Need to address the problem of youth unemployment, linked to the level of training of young people and the non-completion of basic studies necessary for personal, professional and social development.
