Objectives

The CPIFP Los Enlaces has an internationalization strategy, aligned with the general objectives of the center, and materialized through the different mobility programs. Within the framework of this KA102 project, the objectives that were initially proposed were: 1) For the participating students: - Improve English language skills to prepare them for a global work environment - Improve their employability, either through continuing their studies or a long-term work contract - Develop non-formal competencies: cultural, social, autonomy and European values. 2) For the CPIFP Los Enlaces: - Strengthen international relationships - Promote Vocational Training The original project requested staff mobilities that were not granted, so these objectives and those associated with the center for those activities are not described. Also, this project was impacted by COVID-19, so an additional objective was set for the center regarding the management of safe mobilities. Likewise, the initially planned professional branches (commerce and IT) were finally modified to only commerce, due to organizational needs.

Background

The Public Integrated Vocational Training Center (CPIFP) Los Enlaces is a Public Vocational Training center located in Zaragoza. Since 2010/11 we have evolved as an integrated Vocational Training center, and we currently offer both technician and higher-technician vocational training cycles in three professional areas: "Commerce and Marketing", "Image and Sound" and "IT and Communications". Within the scope of this project, we offer 3 intermediate level (technicial) vocational training studies, as part of our educational offer. Despite our extensive experience in managing Higher Technician mobilities (since the 2007/2008 academic year), we have little experience in managing intermediate level projects, being this project our third application in that area. The main objective of this project is to strengthen opportunities for the technician students, traditionally underrepresented in our Erasmus strategy, enhancing their employability and development of technical, linguistic and personal skills, while providing them with values such as globalization, openness to other cultures and an entrepreneurial spirit.
