This is the first project in which we participate in the Erasmus+ programme with our own project with the aim of deepening the internationalisation of the institution, improving the participation of the different professional families of which the institute is composed in the different mobility projects that are carried out. The aim of this project was to carry out professional internships in European institutions/companies for the students and thus broaden their professional, personal, social and linguistic competences, improving the foreign language skills of the participants. The Institute intends to increase the number of partners available to offer internships abroad to students, as well as to increase the quality of the internships, offering not only internships in European institutions, but also with the support of counterpart schools and other collaborating associations that will ensure the correct development of the internships, in cooperation with the Institute. Another of the main objectives of the project is to improve the employability of students and reduce school dropout rates by offering quality education and promoting access to higher education.
Institut Provençana is a Vocational Training centre that has been participating in mobility programmes for more than 20 years, traditionally mobilities had been carried out with students in Higher Education, and in 2018 mobilities started with students in Intermediate Level through participation in mobility consortiums. Thus, the Institut Provençana, with this project, intended to expand the impact of the mobility project in the institution, expanding the number of participants in it, offering the possibility of participating to the different professional families of Intermediate Level Training Cycles (CFGM). Thus, after a long experience in the Erasmus+ programme and its predecessor programmes, it was decided to initiate a mobility project for the students of Administrative Management and Commercial Activities managed by the centre itself, while maintaining the participation of the students of Laboratory Operations through mobility consortia, as had been done in previous years. In this way, we aimed to guarantee the continuity of the project initiated through the consortium for Intermediate Level of the Department of Education, while we awaited the approval of this project.
