Belarmino Fernández Iglesias Foundation-CPR Belarmino Fernández Iglesias is located in a rural environment in the heart of Ribeira Sacra where in recent years there has been a considerable increase in tourism, which is why local hospitality and catering firms demand more professionals with a wide range of language skills and experience in international work environments, however, in the curricula of the vocational training courses in the Hospitality branch there is a significant lack of foreign languages and this has been one of the main reasons that has led us to request this project Belarmino move to EU. We have also detected that in rural areas there is usually an excess of localism among recently graduated students and their families and that is why we want to give them the opportunity to improve their professional skills and to know other cultures that will help them in their labour insertion, by doing internships abroad. In addition, our teachers want to learn about new techniques and trends in the sector in other countries to update and improve professionally and learn, among others, about waste management policy, the use of plastic-free materials or the use of Km0 products that they can put into practice in their teaching.
