Based on the needs analysis conducted in our organisation, several objectives which were framed in our European Development Plan, were detailed. For its achievement, a few activities in the Erasmus project in the present application have been conducted. Among the established objectives it can be found: enhancing the linguistic ability of foreign languages in the educational community through natural language learning and linguistic diversity; contextualising the Vocational Training learning by using a competence methodology in a real working and European environment; motivate students to continue studying by emphasising them the importance of Vocational Training courses and thus reducing the school dropout; making use of new methodologies in class as Project-Based Learning (PBL) may be a way of supporting their motivation; encouraging the students’ professional, personal and social competences by implementing new methodologies in the classroom; bringing the European culture closer to the educational community for making it feel part of a global, diverse and open society by training open-minded and tolerant citizens towards people’s diversity and culture.
Our organization Regina Carmeli Rubí requested the project from the need to conduct an improvement in the educational quality by offering Vocational Training students an improvement in terms of updated learning methodologies that allow them progress professionally, personally, and socially. Based on an analysis of weakness and strengths, the needs of our organisation were established with the intention of elaborating a project for a centre that would promote educational improvement through new learning methodologies. The internationalisation of education and the improvement of language skills among other changing priorities have been detected given that the social and the working context requires professionals who can cope in the international professional framework. This is how the will for starting a project that aimed to implement mobility activities for students originated, offering them the opportunity to conduct their internships in a European environment. This project has allowed to introduce the first steps of our institution on the way to the education’s internationalisation.
