To improve the quality of Vocational Education and Training courses and to make them more appealing. To encourage competitiveness, entrepreneurship as well as skills required in the European labour world. To reinforce and enrich the knowledge of languages and culture of several European Union countries by promoting cultural integration.
This has been requested because we want our school to participate in programmes and actions that promote European citizenship and student mobility among our students and teaching staff. Vocational Training students are required to do work experience in companies, some of which are carried out in the European Union through the Erasmus Plus program. In addition, there are also teachers who carry out mobility actions, especially in the training area. Thanks to the experience in similar projects in previous years, the demand is high as students and teaching staff have been very interested since the beginning of the academic year. However, this was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which slowed down mobilities due to restrictions in the country of origin and destination countries. The level of participation is high, and although this is still the reason why we continue to be enthusiastic, it is true that on this occasion we have had to request an extension of the project, the mobilities were stopped in their tracks but we have been able to cover them later. The fact of being our own project has also allowed us to work with more flexibility and autonomy, adapting certain aspects to the reality of each moment and working more effectively in dissemination.
