The main objective of these projects is to reduce as much as possible the time lag between the emergence of an innovation and its access to VET schools. The teachers working on these projects design the materials and training that teachers will need to get up to speed in these fields of innovation. There are two other very important needs that we want to cover with the development of this project: it is about giving a lead to the development and creation of other European projects. Projects for which we are organising this proposal: International Management, ICT Sectors, Training Methodologies Sector, Entrepreneurship and Management of Management Teams. The result of this training will have an impact on the development of the Innovation projects but a much greater impact on all the VET schools when the materials will be developed and made available to the students in a period of no more than two years.
The proposal presented was a consequence of the results of an analysis carried out jointly by the three IKASLAN organisations and the Vice-Ministry of Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning of the Basque Government. While the evolution of the mobility of Vocational Training students in the BAC had reached up to 10% of the total of those who finish each year, the mobility of teachers, although improving, does not reach the desired minimum. It is necessary to give a boost to the mobility of Vocational Training teachers and above all to the acquisition of competences in innovation projects that are being developed. We consider that a very important part of technology watch, which allows us to identify benchmark organisations and good practices, is the benchmark organisations and good practices, is the use of mobility projects aimed at teachers. IKASLAN presented this mobility proposal aimed at Vocational Training teachers from all over the BAC, who were working on innovation projects in the VET schools.
