Objectives

With this project we have tried and, in a very high percentage, achieved, to extend the opportunities of study and experimentation of educational realities in the programme countries for professional artistic education, to improve the training and employability of the learners, to provide visibility in an international context to this education, to promote the personal and artistic development of the participants, to spread the Spanish artistic culture, to promote the knowledge of other European languages, to create and strengthen links with international companies and institutions and to study and experiment other educational realities in order to improve the methodologies applied in the teaching-learning process.

Background

The MDA Consortium (Music, Dance and Arts) began in 2014 and throughout this period its aim has been to promote and encourage international mobilities in the centres that teach Professional Artistic Education in Castilla y León. The Consortium has also been a tool that has contributed to fulfilling the strategy of the Internationalisation Plan for the Educational Centres of Castilla y León promoted by the Regional Ministry of Education, which is a partner of the MDA Consortium. The improvement of quality, the efficiency of education, the lifelong learning, the promotion of equity, the social cohesion and the active citizenship, the promotion of creativity and the innovation are basic and necessary pillars to achieve educational excellence that serves as a final resource to ensure a better society. This ideal, which implies a medium and long-term action, is the main motivation for the application of this project.
