We set the following aims: In the short term: 1.- To help students to improve their professional and personal skills. 2.- To help the teachers in scientific updating and to encourage teaching innovation. 3.- To improve the participants’ linguistic skill in their respective foreign language. 4.- To recognise the competences acquired through the Europass mobility documents. 5.- To establish and maintain stable relations between the educational centre and educational institutions and/or companies from other countries. 6.- To get to know and spread other cultural realities within Europe living in another country with the aim of becoming aware of the diversity in the EU. In the long term: Students: to strengthen the employability of VET students, improving their employability in an environment characterised by a high youth unemployment in our country, with special attention to disadvantaged students. Teachers: to enable the improvement of teaching practice and promote the use of ICTs School: to increase the attractiveness of VET and to support improvements in the quality and innovation of education and VET systems, institutions and practices.
The IES Federico García Lorca is located in Albacete (Spain) and is one of the largest secondary schools in Castilla-La Mancha in terms of students. The aim of this project was to provide new mobilities for intermediate vocational training students and teachers, so that they could complete their training in companies abroad, complement their CV and improve their employability. We have tried to give continuity to mobilities in EU countries, as our strategy to: * open up our school to the outside world, strengthening its international dimension, through collaboration between organisations from different countries. * promote European recognition of the training of students and teachers. * take advantage of the multiplier effects of the mobility experiences carried out. * disseminate the results obtained from this internationalisation in order to improve our institution. It should be noted that this is the third KA102+ project we have implemented and that its development has been a challenge due to the number of activities carried out, the personnel involved and the inconveniences caused by COVID-19 which have been managed by the Mobility Commission.
