Our project aims to strengthen competencies and equity through short and long-term mobilities. For students, employability and European value are enhanced, while teachers acquire innovative methods and approaches. All of this contributes to an inclusive and up-to-date education, empowering future professionals in a dynamic European environment. Through short-term mobilities, we seek to achieve high-quality learning outcomes, evaluating the practical module of Formación en Centros de Trabajo (FCT). By means of ErasmusPro long-term mobilities for Cycle students, their professional skills are enhanced post-graduation. For all Cycle students, highlighting their worth as future professionals in the European job market is a goal. Promoting equal opportunities through the acquisition of linguistic skills, European understanding of education and the job market, and mastery of new tools for equal opportunities is pivotal. In the teaching realm, acquiring new pedagogical tools and enhancing competencies in the European dimension of care for individuals in dependent situations, technology usage, and intervention methodologies is the focus.
The Felix Muriel Secondary School, located in Rianxo (A Coruña), has maintained a steadfast commitment to educational excellence and the enrichment of the academic and professional experience for its students and the broader educational community. Recognizing the importance of adapting to an increasingly globalized and ever-evolving world, the school decided to embark on an Erasmus project focused on Vocational Education and Training (VET). This application is grounded in the continuous pursuit of improvement and the creation of equitable opportunities for all students, regardless of their geographical origin or background. Our students come from rural environments where access to international education and mobility experiences is limited. This disparity in educational opportunities presents a challenge that the school actively and effectively seeks to address. Building upon the success and benefits observed in previous projects, we are convinced that internationalization and transnational cooperation are effective avenues for leveling the playing field and providing equal opportunities to all our students.
