Objectives

The OBJECTIVES are: To put VET teachers in contact with the productive environment where their students will eventually have to be inserted, an increasingly wider environment that includes the countries of the European Union. Knowledge of the current demands of the labour market in order to be able to orientate and improve their teaching work. Knowledge of another education system, curricula and teaching organisation and working methods in Italy and Germany (totally different systems), to review and adapt contents, methods and pedagogical strategies and to facilitate cooperation between different organisations within the EU. We have also tried to learn about the current system of Dual VET, to see how it is implemented and what activities the students carry out and how this learning system is implemented in the company. With regard to inclusive students, another of the objectives was to clarify its implementation and means of action.

Background

The current situation of the teaching centres is worrying in terms of the knowledge of foreign languages and the lack of motivation of the students, which leads to a high dropout rate in the intermediate level of vocational training, making it necessary to know other existing methodologies and other knowledge of what the current European market demands in order to adapt and improve this situation and above all to adapt to the new legislation on inclusion. It is therefore necessary for teachers to be updated in all these innovative subjects, to know other methodologies that can be applied in their classrooms and for this it is necessary to make mobilities of this type.this contributes to the centre and the staff being involved and can also involve the students.the internationalisation of the centre is necessary and this starts with the teacher.also the personal development and learning of new active teaching methodologies and more innovative didactic methodologies that allow students to assimilate learning in a more successful way. Knowledge of new professional development activities, training in ICT and new digital media and systematic programmes to assess teachers' training needs and provide individualised training.
