Taking into account what was mentioned above and that our project came from a consensus, we set ourselves the following objectives: 1st Establish partners so that students could do internships (FCTs) in the future or could carry out training stays in other educational centers abroad. 2nd To improve the technical and methodological capacities and the entrepreneurial capacity of the staff that participated in the project. 3rd To improve the language skills, self-esteem and confidence of the personnel who participated in the project. 4th Learn new methodologies that are taught in Europe to be able to implement them in our school. 5th Start the process of internationalization of the VET section and broaden the European awareness of teachers and students. 6th Improve the external image of our section to attract more students.
Our school, IES Cayetano Sempere, had participated in several European projects in Secondary Education: 1 Comenius, 4 KA1 and 2 KA2. However, in the Vocational Training branch, we did not have any experience in European projects. Taking into account the positive results in Secondary, we considered the need of starting the internationalisation of our VET section.
