Our institution is an Integrated Vocational Training Centre, hence the need to seek updating and continuous training often in companies in other countries, which in many cases are the ones that generate the machinery and techniques that we use here. We have workshops for many specialities, although some of them are somewhat obsolete and are being obsolete and are updated with technical material that comes from Italian and German companies (mainly). This is why we require training abroad in many of these families. The main areas we want to improve in our school are the following: - Students in compulsory work placements (FCT): work in leading European companies. - Students on long-term internships (ErasmusPro) due to alumni's interest in doing work placements abroad. - Job-shadowing" internships for teaching staff, establishing stays in companies with different cutting-edge technologies in each speciality. It also makes it easier for us to find companies in the sector that are clearly at the forefront but are usually reluctant to do long placements.
