In this context, one of the main objectives of carrying out the project was to provide students of basic training, intermediate cycles and certificates of professionalism of the three centres that make up the consortium, the opportunity to carry out Workplace Training (FCT) in an international environment and under the framework of the Erasmus+ programme; in order to improve their linguistic and professional skills. In addition, the aim was to extend these experiences to the staff of our schools, in order to enrich their European vision, improving their didactic and linguistic competences through a cultural and training exchange experience in a European environment. Another of the objectives was to be able to offer our recently graduated students ErasmusPro mobilities that result in a greater professional competence of our students as well as a substantial improvement of their linguistic competences.
This project was born to give continuity to the consortium that we constituted in 2019, the three centres that make it up (IES JOHAN CARBALLEIRA, IES LUIS SEOANE and CFEA of LOURIZÁN). The three of us had the need to cover the demand of mobilities of the students of intermediate cycles and basic vocational training as well as, to promote the mobilities of the students participating in the courses destined to the obtaining of certificates of professionalism. We want to prepare people and professionals capable of facing the challenges of a globalised society and to overcome an unfavourable employment situation such as the current context, promoting entrepreneurship, language learning, multiculturalism and improving the employability profile of our students. Our centres offer, among other courses, several intermediate level training cycles: Administrative Management, Welding and Boilermaking, Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics, Aesthetics and Beauty, Use and Conservation of the Natural Environment and Commercial Activities; as well as several basic cycles (Maritime-Fishing Activities, Manufacturing and Assembly, Commercial Services, Hairdressing and Aesthetics).
