Regarding the objectives of the project, the students have been able to: - Develop a sense of belonging to the European Union through the ERASMUS+ program by feeling as protagonists of a European initiative. - Improve their linguistic skills to communicate with their colleagues through a previous and face-to-face Italian language training. - Compare and exchange ways of working and protocols of another European country. - Improve their employability by acquiring experience and a profile open to jobs abroad. - Feel part of a common European project together with their teachers and classmates from different institutes in Madrid and Seville. - Improve their job prospects thanks to the acquisition of a new language and work experience specific to their field. - Improve their social skills and adaptability through coexistence with their classmates, organization of food shopping, activities, work center, tutors and coordinators, in another language. - Spread the program to other institutes to motivate future students.
The project has been aimed at the multidisciplinary mobility of Basic and Intermediate Vocational Training students, focused on internships in companies in the different fields of the specialties of the project partners, with the collaboration of a counterpart training center in Italy. The public schools that have participated in the project are from the Community of Madrid except one from the Community of Andalusia, many of them in districts and municipalities with high rates of poverty and immigrant population. The general objective of the Consortium has been to offer its students - especially students with fewer opportunities - the possibility of doing professional internships in a real international environment and accompanied by experts, thus improving their future employability, offering them also the opportunity to get to know other cultures, as well as to improve their teamwork skills, their foreign language skills and the ability to develop their work in different environments and management models.
