Objectives

What did you want to achieve with the development of the project? Before the Erasmus + project, the school had already started to implement the COMPETIC-GES / PROJECTS-GES, incorporating these modules (ICT and projects) into the weekly schedule of the students inscribed to obtain the GES diploma (secondary school for adults). The main goal was to promote the use of ICT apps and resources among our students, in order to improve their digital competence and train adult people who can be competent with technology so that they feel integrated socially and professionally. For this reason, the Erasmus + project has promoted the continuation of this line of work in our school.

Background

Why did you request this project? CFA Clot is a school for adults in Barcelona that has been working for some time with ICT. The main goal for requesting the KA-104 Erasmus + project was to improve the digital competence of the students and the teachers’ training, and at the same time implement learning strategies through PBL for the acquisition of basic competencies from our GES students (secondary school diploma for adults), to whom the project is directed. The main motivation of the school director and the leading team has been to promote the preparation of the project, to develop it throughout two courses, and to enhance collaborative work and the student’s autonomy through the knowledge acquired in the courses.
