Objectives

1.- Management improvement of the management team. Study visits help us expand our leadership and management skills. Sharing experiences with other centres in Finland and Belgium, seeing their classrooms in the field, meeting their students, their concerns, replicating what we can, help us improve our centre. 2.- Improvement of teaching practice that helps reduce early school leaving. We want to improve it through jobshadowing during our visits to Belgium and Finland. We have carried out collaborative activities, teachers have shown us their day to day, the resources and methodologies that are effective for them. 3.- Implementation of ICT methodologies and collaborative work in the classroom. Our Finnish partner offers state-of-the-art tools in adult education and we have learned from them through direct observation and collaboration in the classroom. 4.- Strengthen teachers' skills. The didactic departments of the centre have been strengthened. They have improved in different skills as active methodologies, entrepreneurship, guidance, collaborative learning, knowledge of European institutions, creation of a more modern, dynamic and international environment.

Background

The management team of CEPA Paulo Freire is relatively new to developing its work, so they feel the need to increase their ability to manage the centre, the new student profiles, new teachings or new configuration of spaces to become a modern and versatile school. CEPA Paulo Freire needs to increase the professional development of its teachers, allowing them to acquire new tools, teaching and learning methods, analyze different teaching and educational practices from other countries, promote collaborative, transversal work, making them protagonists of the methodological change that we pursue, in short, helping them to grow and increase their professional competence in a more modern, dynamic, international environment, open to new educational practices and collaboration with other educational centres and other institutions.
