We wanted to achieve an international dimension through the interchanges of experiences and knowledge with other European institutions. We wanted to improve the quality of the school's educational project, the professionalism of the educators, their competences and those of the pupils together with a greater development of their awareness of active and participatory citizenship.
CEPA Don Juan I applied for this project because there was a need of providing an international dimension in our educational centre. We wanted to ensure that pupils feel integrated in a wider community leading to greater social participation at different levels: from the school level to the European level, passing through the local, regional and national level. There was a need of broadening our perspectives from the teaching point of view, as well as from the students' point of view. We had the challenge of making internationalization a hallmark of our school.
