Aims of the project: To improve the language skills in Portuguese, allowing to work in/with lusophone companies, to facilitate the mobility of students in the curricular internship and in their subsequent working life, to acquire a sense of belonging to the European Union and to increase the attractiveness of these level 3 VET studies and to know the Portuguese education system in relation to VET Computer Science studies.
Context of the project: Professional field: Computer Science and Communications. Level 3 VET in Microcomputer Systems and Networks. - First year students: mobilities for studies and extra-curricular internships. - Second year students: mobilities for studies and traineeships embedded in the student’s curriculum. - Voluntary traineeship for recent graduates. The subjects “Office Automation Applications” and "Web Applications" are taught in Portuguese in the face-to-face learning (“Estrela PluriFP” in “Edulingüe”, Xunta de Galicia). Antecedents of the project: - Experience: 5 years in Erasmus, 2 years in LdV, 7 years in Erasmus+ KA102/KA116 and KA103. - eTwinning projects with European Quality Labels, with national and international prizes. - Intermediate partner of Erasmus+ KA116 and KA103 mobilities. - Sending and hosting partner of job shadowing. - Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter: new destinations and growth commitment reached.
