Objectives

Our main objective has been to achieve a better training, together with a personal and social development of our participants, as well as to improve their understanding of situations related to the organization and management of the companies or institutions in which their activities would be carried out, thus completing their professional skills. and learning about new employment opportunities. We also wanted to achieve a greater development of skills on them, such as teamwork in an international context, promoting their autonomy, creativity or tolerance towards other cultures. Furthermore, we tried to ensure that the internships carried out in companies by our students allowed them to fully or partially validate the FCT module, organizing activities that contemplated the Learning Outcomes of this module, in cooperation with the tutors in the hosting institutions. In summary, with the project we have intended to promote, both in the students and in the participating teachers, the acquisition of new work methods and different technologies, as well as expanding their European vision and improving their understanding of the educational, labor and cultural realities of other countries.

Background

With this project: FORMOVEM VI (Training, Mobility and Employment VI) we have tried to provide continuity and close the cycle of a series of projects that have been developed since 2014 in our center, with a main objective of improving the quality of education, and the professional, personal and social skills of our students, belonging to different Training Cycles (CCFF) of Intermediate Vocational Training. Thus, we have tried to improve their technical skills through professional activities in foreign companies, so as to allow them to fully or partially validate the Training module (FCT). We have also sought to improve the training and personal development of participating teachers. We have tried to improve aspects such as organization and internal logistics, the selection of participants, the different activities carried out, as well as the choice of counterpart partners and companies. Given the satisfaction shown by participants in previous mobility activities (in aspects such as improved skills, acquired work techniques, or linguistic competencies), we decided to request a new project with similar characteristics to the previous ones.
