The objectives set were the following: - Promote the review and updating of the internationalization plan in each center to promote mobility and European cooperation = this objective has been achieved with satisfaction, all within a context of a pandemic that has made mobility difficult for us. - Promote training practices in European companies or training centers = we have increased the number of student mobility, replacing long mobility with shorter ones with companions. This measure has been taken to be able to execute the entire budget and because the circumstances of the pandemic and post-pandemic made it more advisable to carry out short stays with a companion. In addition, within these short stays we have led 3 Basic Vocational Training groups and 1 Special Vocational Training groups, promoting the objective of INCLUSION of the new Erasmus program. These groups were, of course, accompanied, in a ratio of 1 teacher for every 4 students, since the circumstances of the group required it. - Promote the international dimension of the Centers = after the pandemic we have seen an increase in requests, although many stays have not been possible. - Create and extend a network of centers, institutions, companies that are related to Vocational Training to facilitate internships in companies = we have continued to collaborate with partners in Europe despite the fact that many countries closed their borders in 2020 and 2021 (some they continued to place restrictions in 2022 as well). - Expand the technical preparation of young students and VET trainers through experiences in work environments or European work systems = the degree of satisfaction was high among the participants. All these objectives are aligned with the internationalization plan set out in our VET Charter 2015-1-ES01-KA109-016414. With this project we ended the period of validity of the same with a very satisfactory results obtained despite the fact that the pandemic period delayed the execution of the last two projects and postponed them for almost three years.
The Department of Education of the Government of Navarra is the official institution responsible for all educational aspects within the region of Navarra. Within this framework, and within the General Directorate of Vocational Training, the Department has promoted for several years the creation of a consortium that brings together the public vocational training centers of Navarra with the aim of providing training practices that improve the professional qualifications of the participants. These centers have a total of 38 Intermediate Level Training Cycles, 17 Basic Vocational Training Cycles and 15 Special Vocational Training Cycles, all of them from 23 professional families. With the aim of linking the training stays with the world of work, we have the collaboration of more than 1,500 companies in Navarra. For the training stays in Europe, we count on the previous experience and contacts with many European companies that have welcomed students and trainers during the last years. This project has been marked by the incidence of COVID, which has not allowed us to execute it in its entirety. Throughout this report we will describe how we have been influenced by the pandemic, its consequences and the measures adopted to overcome it.
