Aim 1. To contribute to the creation of a community of well-qualified professionals, fluent in foreign languages, more autonomous, with open minds, with the ability to adapt to different environments and to cooperate and with international experience. Aim 2. To increase the possibilities of our students to compete in the local, national and European labour market and/or to continue their studies after having acquired a solid foundation and the corresponding qualification. Aim 3. To strengthen collaborative networks between our institution and the receiving institutions in order to, in the future, be able to do without intermediary companies also in destinations other than Finland. Aim 4. To improve the methods and tools for planning, management and evaluation of the mobilities that we have developed in our centre and that have been included in protocols. Aim 5. To diversify the type of mobilities that we have classically carried out so far. Aim 6. To complement and enrich the training programmes and the syllabuses of the different cycles. Aim 7. To consolidate the position and the image of IES Algarb as an international and multicultural centre through the dissemination of all the activities carried out.
At our school, we consider that mobility experiences to foreign countries within the EU security framework is an added value, as it increases the quality of our educational project and enriches it significantly. The mobility activities and the rest of the actions we plan and carry out with the aim of reaching the highest possible level of implementation of our Internationalisation Strategic Plan, always have proved to make a significant impact on our students, on the teaching staff, on the management team, and on the community (local companies, families and adults who are considering their future, public administrations, other centres -even those abroad, who ask us for help with their applications and with their projects...). Therefore, our commitment to the programme is firm and year after year we try to strengthen the synergies already established, but also to seek new partners to enrich and diversify our possibilities in terms of student and teacher mobilities. Regarding this project, both the International Programmes Committee of our school (CPI) and our students were very interested in reactivating the mobility projects after a difficult period of confinement and interruption of the presence also in the educational field.
