The objectives that were wanted to be carried out thanks to the project in the framework of mobility are the following that we will mention below: First of all, we wanted to improve professional skills by stimulating employability by putting students in contact with the world of work and other European countries. In this way, students would approach a European environment, open, dynamic and promoter of change. On the other hand, we will contribute to the development of quality mobility by promoting innovation and a European dimension and thus promoting lifelong learning to create a feeling of European citizenship based on understanding and respect for other peoples and cultures. Also, the importance of promoting language learning thanks to the training stay in the country, the classes that have been organized by the Department with a language classroom, the OLS Platform and through an application (Duolingo) which allowed them to advance their language progress autonomously in order to develop linguistic competence and promote competence-based learning.
Our center, located in Gandía, a city in Valencia, is the IES Tirant lo Blanc, an institute of Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training that has seven professional families. With this Erasmus + project we want to promote the employability of our students, improving their professional and linguistic skills and their ability to actively participate in society, including these aspects also in our Educational Project of the Center and in the PGA of the center. We need to combat unemployment since our students are young people from mainly disadvantaged backgrounds who seek an employment opportunity in their training. We must continue to advance in inclusion and equality and combat gender discrimination through mobility as well as social exclusion and a commitment to socio-labor insertion at the European equalitarian level. We are urged to improve cooperation actions between centers, in relation to the recognition of degrees, methodological and digital innovations, management of educational projects with an international dimension and especially that which respects the management and achievement of FCT training practices in European companies.
